We created Peaceful Landing, LLC to answer a simple, urgent need in Duluth, GA: safe, affordable, truly independent living for senior women only. Our mission is to blend security, comfort, and community in one stable home designed specifically for women. We focus on dignity and personal choice, so residents maintain control of their daily lives while enjoying built-in support. Every decision — from room design to community activities — centers on helping women feel known, respected, and genuinely at home.
A Home Grown In Duluth
Peaceful Landing, LLC opened in 2026 after we saw how many seniors in Gwendolyn County struggled to find safe, budget friendly housing. As female owners rooted in Duluth, Gwendolyn Whitt and June Lomax Whitt built this community with local families in mind. We designed shared and private rooms with utilities, Wi Fi, and laundry included, then added a detached community room and 24/7 security. The result is independent living that feels personal, practical, and connected to the neighborhood.

We encourage senior women to set their own routines, gather in the community room, and enjoy on-site amenities that ease daily responsibilities. Our team and owners remain hands-on and present, listening to residents and families while adapting to changing needs. Safety — including 24/7 monitoring and emergency response — remains quietly in the background, allowing independence, dignity, and sisterhood to come first.
